I use a combination of Windex and 91% alcohol to clean the flux off the solder to get a great patina finish.  First use Windex to neutralize the flux, then 91% alcohol to neturalize the ammonia in the Windex.  Patina, then use 91% alcohol again to neutralize the patina.  Then buff with Clarity Stained Glass Finishing Compound using a soft cloth.  Stop by for free more detailed instructions on how to clean and patina your stained glass projects.
